Our client is one of the world's major suppliers of fresh, packaged, and frozen seafood, with a reputation for high-quality production and a commitment to safety, sustainability, and innovation. They are now seeking a qualified Afternoon Shift Maintenance Fitter to join their growing team in Adelaide.

About the Role:

This is a full-time afternoon shift role, Monday to Friday, working from 2:00 PM to 10:10 PM. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll carry out mechanical maintenance, breakdown support, and reliability improvements across a fast-paced production facility.

You’ll be joining a skilled and collaborative team including:

Engineering Manager

Maintenance Manager

Multiple day, afternoon, and night shift fitters and electricians

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on machinery and plant equipment

Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimise downtime

Support production teams with equipment adjustments and improvements

Work collaboratively with fellow tradespeople and management across shifts

Maintain compliance with WHS and safety protocols

Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used

What We’re Looking For:

Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade)

‘B’ Class Electrical Licence (highly regarded)

Current Forklift Licence (LF)

EWP Licence (Yellow Card or High-Risk WP)

Basic welding/fabrication skills

Ability to work independently on afternoon shift

Own basic hand tools
