We’re searching for an experienced and proactive Household Assistant to join our close-knit team in a private, purpose-driven home on the Gold Coast.

This is more than a cleaning job—it’s about creating harmony, supporting a team, and being a trusted presence in the day-to-day rhythm of a unique household.

Hours & Pay

Shift start times are approximately: 7:30am - 9:30 am

During Onboarding (2–4 weeks):

🕓 5–7 hrs/day, 4 weekdays/week (20–28 hrs/week)

💰 ~$35/hr on weekdays

After Onboarding:

🕓 8–9 hrs/day, 4 days/week (32–36 hrs/week)

💰 ~$38/hr on weekdays

✅ Includes yearly raises & opportunities for growth into a team lead/household manager role.

Weekend work may occasionally be required.

What You’ll Do

Your job is to help the household run like clockwork. You’ll work closely with other team members and use smart systems and checklists to manage:

• General housekeeping: cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry

• Home organization & stock replenishment

• Shopping, errands & inventory management

• Tech-assisted updates via devices (e.g., Messenger, Google tools)

• Running end-of-day checks, maintaining cleanliness and order

• Coordinating with other staff to keep everyone in sync

• Pet care (including a large friendly dog)

• Using initiative to spot and handle tasks without being asked

Tools You’ll Use

We’re a tech-savvy household! You’ll use:

• Google Calendar, Sheets, and inventory apps

• Messaging tools (Messenger, Discord, SMS)

• Google search, Google Maps, shopping/delivery apps

• Digital wallets and an Android phone or tablet

What You’ll Need

• Some experience in a housekeeping, cleaning or private assistant home setting

• Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle

• A current police check (or willing to obtain)

• Must be a non-smoker (medical sensitivity in the household)

• Must reside within 25km of Parkwood, Gold Coast

• Australian working rights (citizenship or valid visa)

• Experience in luxury homes a bonus

• Must love dogs 🐾

Start your day with a checklist and clear priorities. You’ll help ensure the house stays sparkling clean, the team is updated, supplies are stocked, and everyone knows what’s done—and what’s next. Every day is a little different, but always well-organized. If something’s out of place or needs fixing, you spot it and handle it. Your tech-savvy skills help you stay in sync and efficient throughout the day.
