Buckingham Marine Services is a reputable and dynamic marine repair company working out of Woolwich Dock Yardm Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron in Kirribilli and our new repair centre on the central coast

We are a growing company looking at hiring a new experienced shipwright / boat builder.

Key Duties will include:

Structural and cosmetic fibreglass and gelcoat repairs

Managing and teaching apprentices

Timber structural and cosmetic repairs

2 pack resprays and paint repairs

Minor 12v part replacements

Removal of shafts and rudders

Water leak identification

Through hull fitting installation and replacements

Refits and rebuilds

The successful applicant will need to

Demonstrate a high level of professionalism

Be dynamic, focused and hard-working

Have experience as a shipwright / boat builder

Have a car and a boat licence (or willing to Obtain)

Have their own tools ( or willing to obtain)

Able to show safe work practices

Be punctual and keep good documentation of jobs done

Be qualified shipwright or hold good history as a boat builder

Package is hourly rate minimum 38 hours per week with good penalty rates + super + holidays and sick leave
