About the Role

As an Associate Adviser, you will play a key role in supporting financial advisers and ensuring clients receive outstanding service. Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage the end-to-end advice process in collaboration with the Adviser, Paraplanning Assistant, outsourced paraplanners, and support team
• Attend client meetings alongside the Adviser to understand client relationships and advice delivery, with a view to building your own client base within 1–2 years
• Develop tailored strategies and financial advice for high-income professionals, pre-retirees, and retirees seeking to optimise their financial position
• Use financial planning tools such as Xtools+, Wealthsolver, and Risk Researcher (or similar platforms)
• Provide advice across a broad scope, including: Goals-based planning, Investment strategies, Superannuation, Cashflow management, Tax planning, Debt strategies, Entities and structures, Estate planning
• Assist with client meetings, including preparation and documentation of all file notes
• Prepare and/or review Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs)
• Review documentation and approve implementation tasks
• Provide training and support to the paraplanning and support team as required
• Maintain regular client communication to ensure a premium client experience
• Work closely with external advice partners in legal, accounting, and mortgage broking to coordinate the client’s overall financial strategy

What We’re Looking For?

• Previous experience as an associate adviser for a minimum of 2 years
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., Xplan) and Microsoft Office
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
