Essex Heights Primary School Outside School Hours Care Program is located in the Mt Waverley area, with an excellent reputation for providing high quality community based care.

Our program is looking for a committed and nurturing person, who will ensure the children’s happiness and safety at all times.

They will need to have an understanding in applying the Framework for School Aged Children Learning Outcomes and The National Quality Frameworks into the program’s daily routines.

The successful applicant must have:

A qualification or studying to complete a recognised qualification by the Department of Education and Early Childhood

A current Working with Children Check

First Aid qualifications HLTAID009, HLTAID010, HLTAID011

An ability to work effectively in a team environment, provide input and take direction.

Be accepting of working with children with additional needs

Creative ideas for program planning

Strong verbal and written communication

The ability to manage large and small groups of children

Employment flexibility

This is a casual position with negotiable hours.
