The Salary range is $53.85 to $56.22 per hour. Hourly rate based on experience.

What You’ll Do
As a Team Leader, you’ll lead a dedicated team of support professionals delivering high-quality services to children, young people, and families in statutory care. You’ll provide practice oversight, mentoring, and operational leadership to ensure safe, inclusive, and effective service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee intake, assessment, and care planning processes
- Provide supervision and guidance to support workers and practitioners
- Collaborate with families, carers, and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with child protection legislation and best practice
- Promote culturally safe services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Contribute to continuous improvement and service innovation
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident, values-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment.
You’ll bring:
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in child protection or youth/family services
- 1+ years’ experience leading a team in a care or support setting
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and child development
- Knowledge of the Child Protection Act 1999 and DFV legislation
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- A current driver’s licence, National Police Certificate, Working for Children (Blue Card), Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS) - or the ability to obtain.
