The role breakdown:

Due to growth, the firm are seeking a Senior Accountant OR Assistant Manager to bolster their Business Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with 4+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm, coupled with CA/CPA qualifications or nearing completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with a diverse client base or primary production, professional services, trades, and construction (plus more)

Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for all entities (excluding SMSF)

Reviewing work/mentoring 1 cadet accountant & 1 bookkeeper

Div. 7A, PSI, CGT and FBT Calculations

Advisory services with client contact from the start

Liaison with the ATO

Maintenance and preparation of clients financial records

A little bit about you:

4+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm

CA/CPA qualifications or close to completion

Leadership skills to uplift, mentor and assist junior staff

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent client relationship and rapport-building skills with clients of all sizes

Passion for truly consulting with clients and planning for the future
