Overview

We are seeking dedicated Freight Handler/Forklift Operators to join our team. This is a casual (on-call) position with a variety of shift starts available. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling fresh produce and parcels in accordance with client policies, as well as performing forklift duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Handle and transport fresh produce and parcels according to client policies and procedures

• Perform forklift duties as needed
  
• Operate in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the timely and accurate handling of freight
  
• Assist with manual handling tasks as necessary
  
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence
  
• Recent Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (inside 3 months) or ability to obtain
  
• Experience in freight handling and forklift operation preferred
• Experience with rotating forks highly advantageous
  
• Ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
