We are seeking a safety-conscious and physically fit Freight Handlers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and transporting perishable items in a warehouse environment. A forklift license and HR license would be advantageous, and a clean National Criminal History Check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently handle and transport perishable items
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols while working in a warehouse environment
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipments and maintain inventory levels
• Communicate effectively with team members and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with perishable items is preferred
• Forklift and HR license is advantageous
• Ability to pass a National Criminal History Check
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Day-to-Day

• Safely handle and transport perishable items
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Verify the accuracy of shipments and maintain inventory levels
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold safety and hygiene standards

Shift available Monday to Friday - Shift durations vary between 6 - 8 hours per day

Applicants must have permanent Australian Residency and be willing to undergo a National Police background check, functional capacity assessment and drug screening.
