Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital
As an experienced Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the provision of safe and compassionate clinical care, whilst working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve best practice patient outcomes. Our nurses are committed and dedicated to providing exceptional care to their patients in their recovery and support to their loved ones. You will experience different aspects of the patient journey, which is both exciting and extremely rewarding.
Our Cardiac Cath Lab (CVIL) offers state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained medical staff to provide the best care for patients with heart conditions. Our team is dedicated to ensuring each patient receives personalised treatment and support throughout their recovery journey. SJG Subiaco have a current redevelopment of the "Heart Centre", which will bring together Cardiac Interventional Services, a new Coronary Care Unit, a Radial Lounge and a Hybrid Suite in the new theatre complex. We provide opportunities for nurses to enhance and discover new skills, supporting a range of different case mixes.
The Position
- Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
- Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
- Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
- Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff.
- Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
You will have a minimum of one year's experience in a Cath Lab and registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse. You will demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Endovascular experience is a plus!

We can offer you
- $48.55 to $63.89 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 11.5% superannuation
