About the role

We are looking for an experienced Metropolitan HC night shift driver to join our team at TLC Haulage in Osborne Park, Western Australia. This full-time role is an integral part of our road transport operations, delivering essential goods and materials across the metropolitan area during the overnight hours.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating a Metropolitan HC vehicle to transport goods and materials throughout the greater Perth metropolitan area during the night shift
• Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of freight
• Proactively communicating with the operations team to provide delivery updates and address any issues or challenges
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any maintenance requirements
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles as needed
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, work hours, and vehicle usage

What we're looking for

• A current Metropolitan HC driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Demonstrated experience as a night shift delivery driver, ideally in the road transport or logistics industry
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate challenges during overnight deliveries
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise with the operations team and clients
• A commitment to safety and a track record of safe driving practices
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team during overnight hours
