The Jarrahdale Tavern is looking for an experienced Cook / Senior Chef / Sous Chef who is passionate about quality & food service delivery.

The Jarrahdale Tavern in an iconic venue in the heart of the former timber town. Often described by its guest as their “Favourite Pub” & we are looking strengthen the kitchen brigade. Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to have experience working in busy, fast paced kitchens. Is a cool as a cucumber under pressure & their service delivery is as sharp as a knife. The Jarrahdale Tavern is a "must see" venue & while anybody visits the Perth Hills & were looking for the next Chef that can help us re-establish us as a "must eat"

Food Safety qualifications

Can demonstrate great cooking techniques over a range of cooking equipment

Understands food business GP targets & cost controls

Ability to communicate efficiently & professionally

Can lead a team or be lead

Menu development

Flexible availability over the 7 days & be willing to step up with the head chef’s absence

Two eyes for detail & desire to strive for the best food outcomes

Ability to train & develop junior staff
