ABOUT YOU

As the successful candidate, you will have:

Experience across Family Law

Experience in and confidence running your own matters

Familiarity with Family Court of Western Australia precedents and knowledge of court procedures

An empathetic and compassionate attitude and approach towards clients, with the understanding that Family Law matters are often highly sensitive

Strong attention to detail

Experience with LEAP software (desirable)

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

DFG Legal is a well-regarded, solution-oriented multi-service law firm operating in the Perth and Peel regions across our three offices based in South Perth (Como), Armadale, and Mandurah. We are now in the process of expanding our excellent Family Law team.

Our experienced and professional team of solicitors, in-house conveyancer and support staff span across three convenient locations. The successful applicant will be provided with the autonomy to broaden their legal skills whilst operating within a supportive and collaborative firm culture where we encourage drawing on the wealth of each other’s knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Principal

Demonstrating a proactive approach to matter intake and autonomous management of matters

Drafting of legal documents including court documents and forms

Attending to procedural court requirements

Liaising efficiently with stakeholders as required

Demonstrating the interpersonal skills required to navigate sensitive and emotional matters

Attending court hearings and conferences

Utilising your well-developed strategy and negotiation skills

Developing a strong rapport with clients and commitment to client service

Collaborating with a team of professionals with a wealth of experience

Maintaining a high level of confidentiality
