Logan Family Recovery offers a unique, 12 week family-focused residential treatment environment where parents can begin their recovery journey without being separated from their young children. Set in a peaceful semi-rural location, our program supports up to six families at a time in a home-like setting, providing intensive, evidence-based alcohol and drug treatment. Through a blend of therapeutic group work, parenting support, and individual counselling, we empower families to build safer, healthier lives together. Our goal is to create lasting change—strengthening family connections while supporting recovery and resilience.
We know you give so much. What if you joined an organisation that’s as passionate about the possibilities for YOU as we are for those we support?
At Lives Lived Well, we’ve been treating and supporting people whose lives are affected by alcohol and other drugs for over 50 years. We also support people with mental health and gambling concerns and those transitioning from correctional centres. We’re growing fast and building a reputation as a trusted, innovative provider, focused on clinical excellence… and we’d love you to be part of it.
Your opportunity
As a Treatment Facilitator you’ll engage and support your clients in their ongoing case management, group facilitation, and treatment of AOD dependency and other associated factors within a residential setting. You’ll walk beside them and celebrate with them when they achieve their goals and help to develop their capacity and confidence.
Some additional duties include:
- Work with clients to develop, implement and review individual treatment goals.
- Manage a case load of clients providing clinical support, service coordination, referral, and advocacy to assist client in achieving their goals.
- Supervise and manage risk where practicable, associated with clients residing in a residential treatment context – including high level complexity and dual diagnosis behavioural management.
- Facilitate group work and processes autonomously. Taking sole responsibility and management of challenging behaviour, efficacy blockers and detractive dynamics.
- Develop program resources and key documents that support the clinical and operational functioning.
- Provide culturally appropriate practice as relevant to varying clients.
- Ensure that client records, data collection and reporting are consistent with confidentiality and relevant practice standards.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a superstar Clinician who is able to manage their day-to-day duties working cohesively within a team of Treatment Facilitators. This is a high demand environment, so you’ll also be required to balance autonomy and efficiency, providing high quality engagement, assessment counselling and support services to your clients. You’re also experienced in utilising evidence-based practice principles for withdrawal, support, and recovery.
To succeed in this role, there are some essentials you’ll need:
- Minimum Bachelor's in Social Work, Counselling, Mental Health or related discipline.
- Applied knowledge in contemporary evidence based AOD clinical practice.
- Demonstrated expertise in residential treatment service delivery with a sound knowledge of the potential risk elements specific to this type of environment.
- Experience in developing and delivering education programs and group facilitation with AOD clients.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own workload.
- Highly developed communication and community engagement skills.
- Membership or eligibility for membership with relevant professional body such as Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (desirable).
- Hold a Blue Card (or ability to apply).
- Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
Why work for Lives Lived Well?
Well, it’s about people, purpose, impact, and growth. And while you support others, we’ll support you with some great benefits, including:
- An extra five paid leave days per year to support your wellbeing and work-life balance.
- Salary packaging to increase your take-home pay.
- Paid parental leave ...
