We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our client’s growing business in Rockingham. This role is ideal for someone experienced with cloud-based accounting software such as Reckon One, Xero, QuickBooks Online, or MYOB. Even if you haven’t used Reckon One before, your experience with any similar platform will transfer easily — we’ll provide a smooth transition.

Hours: part-time schedule (approx 3 days/week)
Location: On-site – Rockingham, WA

🔧 Key Responsibilities

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day financial operations including:

Bank & Transaction Management

Import and reconcile bank feeds

Match transactions to invoices, bills, or transfers

Track petty cash and credit card transactions

Accounts Receivable

Raise and send sales invoices

Apply customer payments

Follow up on overdue accounts

Maintain debtor reports

Accounts Payable

Enter and manage supplier bills

Schedule and record payments

Reconcile supplier statements

GST / BAS Preparation

Check GST coding accuracy

Generate and review BAS reports in Reckon One

Support the accountant or BAS agent with submissions

Payroll (if applicable)

Process weekly/fortnightly payroll

STP (Single Touch Payroll) compliance

Maintain leave records and employee details

General Ledger & Reporting

Code income and expenses accurately

Assist with monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting

Collaborate with the external accountant

File Management & Admin

Organise digital and paper records

Ensure ATO-compliant documentation and filing

About You

Bookkeeping or accounting experience (2+ years preferred)

Comfortable with Reckon One, Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB

Confident reconciling accounts and preparing BAS

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Able to work independently and proactively
