The Partnerships Impact Manager plays a critical role in delivering outstanding relationship management, tailored activations, reporting, and strategic engagement to maximise long term value and social impact across the corporate partnership portfolio.
Driving revenue growth is key for continuing and building on Lighthouse care programs by both managing a strong portfolio of existing corporate partners and supporting the Head of Corporate Partnership in acquiring new partnerships that align with Lighthouse’s mission and values.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, and embedded within a focused, high-performing Partnerships team, this position will also collaborate closely with the Director of Fundraising and Marketing, Board/Fundraising Sub-Committee members, and Lighthouse’s inspiring Founder and CEO to support strategic acquisition and elevate the profile of Lighthouse within the business community.
This hands-on role suits someone strategic, proactive and resourceful who is comfortable working autonomously and delivers results through practical action and strong relationships. The role will operate with clear KPIs aligned to income growth, partner retention, and new business development to ensure accountability and measurable impact.

Lighthouse Foundation provides homes and therapeutic care programs to children and young people impacted by long-term neglect, abuse, and homelessness. Our focus is to create caring communities where kids can feel safe, form meaningful relationships, and begin to heal from traumatic experiences. For the past 30 years, our proven Model of Care has successfully transformed the lives of over 1,000 young people using a range of evidence-based strategies. We now educate and support Foster Carers in the same way, so that they too can take care of some of Australia’s most vulnerable children.
HOW WILL I HELP?
Bringing your incredible relationship skills, events experience and positive attitude you will increase the dollars coming through the door for the vital programs that Lighthouse runs. As Partnerships Impact Manager your role is to build lasting relationships with business partners while keeping existing relationships fresh and fruitful. Ensuring support for the cause is continued in a long-term capacity, is key.
You will be enthusiastic in having conversations to unleash the potential of people and business partners through tailored proposals and demonstration of how a partnership with Lighthouse will make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable young people.
Working collaboratively and in a tight-knit group, you will be the go-to person for day-to-day and on-ground engagement and reporting activities with partners.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
First and foremost, interpersonal skills are a must, with a level of maturity and understanding needed when working with those who use and support our services.
From a professional standpoint you will require:
2-3 years demonstrated experience with relationship management and/or business development
Experience working in fundraising, new business development and/or corporate partnerships
Proven track record in preparing proposals to senior executives to secure new business
Demonstrated success working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, maintaining a high-level of detail and accuracy
Ability to think creatively to develop unique and mutually beneficial partnership proposals
Superior verbal, written and presentation skills
Strong relationship building skills and excellent interpersonal skills with an authentic warm and professional approach
Accountable, proactive and results-driven
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Advanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently on projects and as part of a team
Ability to plan, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines as required
Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Other key skills which would be desirable:
Experience working with Board of Directors and managing relationships within fundraising
Experience in the NFP sector
Experience with fundraising specific database (Blackbaud Razors Edge) or marketing tools (Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud) is ideal but not essential.

Tertiary Qualification in relevant/associated field
Current driver’s license
