With continued growth, we are now looking for a experienced warehouse Assistant for our Warehouse in Hallam.

The Role :To over see the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse including the processing all sales orders and incoming purchase orders.

Main Duties:

Ensure all orders are processed efficiently, quickly and carefully .

To accurately track, monitor, and manage inventory levels.

Perform routine stock checks, identifying discrepancies, and reconciling any discrepancies promptly.

Collaborate the Sales Team and Office Manager to ensure seamless coordination of stock movements and replenishments.

Packaging, dispatch and receipting of shipments, checking products for quality and accuracy.

Maintain a clean and organised storage environment, optimising space utilisation for easy access to items.

Assist in the implementation of efficient stock control procedures and best practices.

Ensuring the warehouse operational procedures and are compliant at all times with WHS policy.

Assisting with all delivery documentation work for processing.

Oversee the induction and training of all new warehouse employees .

Specific Duties:

Preparing and completing warehouse orders for pickup according to schedule.

Fulfill and process all incoming sales orders ensuring that the picking and packing is completed in a timely manner.

Manage the unpacking of stock received and accurately match to the purchase order.

Advise of any discrepancies with stock received.

Communicating with the wider team and management daily on the workflow.

Assist with unloading containers, sorting, counting, receiving into the warehouse and palletising of stock in the warehouse.

Maintain product stored on racking and shelving are accessible and can be identified for the picking of orders efficiently.

Assist with stock replenishment, ensuring stock levels on picking shelves are maintained and monitors stock inventory.

Notify management when stock items are low.

Perform stocktakes bi-annually on all products in the warehouse.

Maintain a safe and clean workspace and environment in the warehouse.

Ensure the warehouse has all adequate supplies of packing material at all times.

Requirements and Skills:

Proven working experience in a warehouse.

Current forklift licence .

Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems desirable.

Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Ability to lift heavy objects.

High school certificate.
