As a night shift Extended Care Assistant, you will:

Provide person-centred support to residents during the night, ensuring comfort, safety and dignity

Assist with personal care and mobility needs in line with individual care plans

Monitor resident wellbeing and escalate concerns to the clinical team as needed

Respond to urgent situations with calm and confidence

Maintain accurate documentation and handover notes using digital systems (iCare)

Support infection prevention, hygiene, and safety protocols

Foster a peaceful and respectful overnight environment for all residents

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

Minimum 2 years' experience in aged care, or related clinical settings

Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) – Certificate IV and/or medication endorsement highly regarded

Confidence working independently and in a team, especially during quieter night hours

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

A genuine commitment to providing quality care with empathy and respect

National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Current Influenza vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination (including booster)
