Seeking experienced HR Drivers to operate SideArm and Rear Loader trucks in kerbside residential waste collection across Fairfield area.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate SideArm or Rear Loader trucks to collect residential waste efficiently and safely.
• Follow designated collection routes, ensuring timely kerbside waste collection.
• Work alongside offsiders/runners, assisting with bin collection where required.
• Adhere to strict safety procedures, including PPE use and hazard reporting.
• Communicate with operations regarding route changes, additional pickups, or maintenance issues.

To be successful in this role you must:

• Valid HR Truck Licence
• 12 months HR driving experience (waste industry experience highly regarded)
• Reliable transport to get to and from the depot for early starts
• Physical fitness - ability to climb in/out of trucks and assist with lifting 25-30 kg when required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to safety and compliance with waste management regulations
• be reliable, honest and a team player;
• Pass a police check
• have a good driving history (a current driving record will be required to be presented at the interview);
• be safety conscious and have the ability to adhere to Council OHS policies and best practice;
• have a can-do attitude and enthusiasm.
• be available to start early in the mornings;
