anzuk Education is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded Early Learning Centre located in the vibrant St Kilda area who are looking for an experienced Room Leader to join the team.

A key focus of the centre is the importance of building meaningful relationships between educators and children to foster a positive learning environment.

The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Room Leader to take the lead in the Babies Room, working with a small group. This is a full-time role with working hours from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

You will be supported by experienced educators. The centre also provides generous planning time and above-award pay, reflecting their commitment to quality care and educator wellbeing.

The Ideal Educator
We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and confident Room Leader who thrives in an infant care environment and can create a safe, calm, and stimulating space for our youngest learners.
You will ideally have:

• A Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA-assessed equivalent)
• Experience working specifically in the Babies Room (0-2 years)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Room Leader in early childhood education
• A solid understanding of the EYLF and NQS, with the ability to implement them in daily practice
• Excellent communication skills, especially in building relationships with families
• A current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate (HLTAID004 or HLTAID012)
• A valid Working with Children Check (Employee)
