The Opportunity

Council is seeking reliable and enthusiastic casual staff member to join the Economy and Growth team - working across a range of areas including but not limited to The Civic Cinema, Creative Arts Gallery, Town Hall, Smithurst Theatre, Visitor Information Centre and Library.

Casuals are employed on a ‘pool’ arrangement (most shifts between Thursday and Sunday) and are required to work to a roster system which could include movie screenings, events, functions and services within the Precinct.

Previous experience would be an advantage but interest, willingness to learn and availability for weekend and evening shifts are key. Successful candidates will also provide excellent front of house customer service, undertake housekeeping duties and assist with venue functions and performances.

Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years old.

Salary range for this position is evaluated at Grade 2 Entry ($30.30 per hour) + casual loading on Council’s Salary Structure.
