With significant projects underway we are actively looking to recruit an experienced Mining Supervisor to support a Major Operation located in the Northern Goldfields, Western Australia.

Responsibilities:

As a site-based Mining Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily operations, leading a crew of 15 to 20 operators to meet production targets safely.

Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, this FIFO role from Perth follows a 2/1 dayshift/ nightshift roster.

Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining and fostering a working environment that prompts safety in all that we do

Maintaining and fostering a respectful workplace

Overseeing and managing our assets, including people, plant, and equipment, to achieve operational outcomes in safety, quality, performance, efficiency, and cost

Conducting regular site inspections and daily interactions with the workforce

Providing technical and practical support to operators

Ensuring team output and KPIs are on track, in line with Company objectives

Skills and experience

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience:

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in open-pit mining.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in an active mining environment.

Experience in Gold mining ( Desirable but not essential )

Hands-on mobile plant experience.

Statutory – Schedule 26 (or working towards certification).

Valid National Police Clearance (within 6 months).

Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including Drug & Alcohol screening.
