As our Team Manager – Residential Care, you'll ensure the delivery of high-quality care that reflects our values, providing leadership to a team working with young people who have experienced trauma, mental health challenges, and/or intellectual disabilities. You’ll foster an inclusive culture, build strong connections, and lead by example to guide young people towards their best futures. 💡
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading and supporting a dedicated team to provide safe, high-quality residential care for young people
Ensuring the day-to-day operations of the Residential Care house run smoothly and effectively
Promoting therapeutic, strengths-based care approaches and embedding them into everyday practices
Collaborating with case managers, external partners, and your team to develop and implement care plans that meet the young people’s goals and aspirations
Driving team development, professional growth, and creating a positive, values-led team culture
Actively contributing to program development and continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring
A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Disability, or similar fields
Strong leadership experience, including the ability to manage and support a team in complex care environments
Deep understanding of trauma-informed care, strengths-based approaches, and person-centred practice
Ability to assess risks, manage challenging situations, and provide crisis support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a non-judgmental, empathetic approach
A proven track record of fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
