Position Overview
We are seeking Casual/Part time Occupational Therapists to join our Allied Health Division.
This role involves working closely with NDIS participants to provide therapeutic support that enhances daily living skills, independence, and community integration. You will have the opportunity to work with clients with a range of needs, including physical, mental health, and developmental disabilities, in both individual and group settings.

Key Responsibilities
NDIS Assessments and Reports: Conduct assessments and prepare reports for NDIS participants such as:
Functional Capacity Assessments and Support Needs recommendations
Cognitive assessments
Assistive Technology Assessments
Home and Living assessments including SIL/SDA or ILO
Participant Centred-Support: Work collaboratively with clients, their families, and support networks to develop therapeutic goals and tailor interventions.
Therapeutic Support: Provide 1:1 hands-on ongoing therapy for capacity building for daily activities
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including assessments, treatment progress, and reports required by the NDIS.
Collaboration: Work in partnership stakeholders such as support coordinators, allied health professionals, and support staff to deliver holistic, integrated care.
Key Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in a clinical or community setting, ideally with exposure to the NDIS sector.
Skills and Attributes:
Proficiency in assessing and managing a diverse range of disabilities.
Knowledge of NDIS guidelines, service planning, and funding processes.
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and effective communication abilities for engaging with clients, families, and the care team.
Capacity to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary environment.
Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
Additional Requirements:
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for community-based sessions.
