About the role

Pheonix Builders Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Labourer to join our tight-knit construction team in Lidcombe, NSW. As a Skilled Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of tradespeople to deliver high-quality building projects. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial construction sites.

What you'll be doing

Assisting Safety officer full time maintaining safety

Carpentry experience preferred

Minimum 12 months of on-site construction experience

Installing safety handrails and general safety tasks to ensure fall hazards and WHS adhered to

Handling and moving construction materials, tools, and equipment

Performing general labouring and site clean-up duties

Competent in the use of power tools

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preparing work areas and cleaning up job sites

Operating power tools essential (Grinders , Circular Saw , drills)

Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures

Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

Experience in the construction industry essential

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Labourer or in a similar construction role

Strong physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of construction work

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Flexibility to work on a variety of construction projects

Construction industry tickets or certifications (desirable)

A general all rounder with a can do attitude.
