Tractor operator & Sprayer

Our growing Leafy greens business, located in Lockyer Valley, QLD, is looking for a 'hands-on', energetic and highly motivated Tractor Driver & Sprayer to join our team.

This position requires the successful applicant to have sound knowledge and experience in vegetable farming.

Ordinary Hours of Work are Monday-Friday, but the position requires the candidate to have a level of flexibility that requires working after hours and weekends.

YOUR BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

Practical background in vegetable farming or 2 years minimum groundwork with tractors, and Spraying.

(emphasis placed on baby leaf or lettuce experience) would be highly regarded.

In addition, the following skills and experience will be required:

Ability to work independently

Tractor driving

Land preparation

Experience in Irrigation

Cultivation

Bed forming

Spraying

General tractor work

Hold current chemical certification (would be highly advantageous)

Willing to work flexible hours

Attention to detail and having a passion for farming is key, enjoy working with people and enjoy rural settings with motivated teams.
