SPRAY SEAL SPREADER DRIVER

Suncoast Asphalt is a progressive asphalt provider servicing commercial and residential customers across south-east Queensland. We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated professional to join the Suncoast Asphalt Contracting Team as a Spray Seal Spreader Driver located in Narangba, QLD, with jobs in and around the greater Brisbane area.

As an Asphalt Seal Spreader Driver, you will be responsible for operating spray seal trucks to apply asphalt sealants on various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet our stringent standards. You'll play a crucial role in road maintenance projects, contributing to safer and smoother roadways for the community.

Role Requirements:

Operate and maintain asphalt seal spreader trucks and related equipment.

Prepare surfaces for sealing by cleaning and assessing conditions.

Apply sealant according to specifications and safety regulations.

Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Valid HC or MC driver's licence.

Chance to upgrade HR licence to HC licence for right candidate.

Experience in asphalt spray sealing or a related field is preferred.

Strong understanding of road construction and maintenance practices.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.

What we offer:

Base hourly rate from $33, pending experience, plus penalty rates, plus super.

Working 8 - 12-hour shifts. Day shift 6am - 6pm, night shift 6pm - 6am.
