ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT | CENTRAL GOLD COAST

Reporting to: CFO

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage accounting functions - payroll (using Xero), accounts payable and receivable, bank and cash reconciliations and more

Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Assist with end of month accounting processes as well as preparing audit schedules and year-end financial statements

Serve as a key contact for external audits and ensure compliance with all financial policies

Collaborate with the CEO on daily financial operations of the business.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance experience.

Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Progress towards CA/CPA qualification is not essential but highly desirable.

Experience utilising Excel and Xero or similar systems

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Must be located in or willing to work on the Gold Coast.
