About the Project
Olympic Dam Mine in South Australia is growing!!!
The Redpath team will be adding a 4th and 5th Olympic dam Portal and declines from surface starting in July 2025.
With this growth, we are needing experienced HD fitters to join the maintenance team!
Successful applicants will be challenged and rewarded with competitive remuneration packages on offer. A demonstrable strong culture of training and internal promotion will ensure new employees reach their potential quickly while working in one the largest uranium and copper mine.
About the role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor on your crew you will enjoy working in a large but close-knit team of experienced HD Fitters.
Your position as a heavy diesel fitter will see you working across the workshops, underground service bays with field, and breakdown work included, machinery consisting of a fleet of Sandvik Jumbos, Cable bolters, Loaders and Trucks, Normet Spray rigs, Agi Trucks and Charge up Rigs plus more.
Your duties will be varied and involve:
Undertaking scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, and fitting parts
Attending breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostic work, and providing technical support
Working within safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
FIFO from all Capital Cities.
Roster on Offer: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster, rotating day and night.
Your duties will be varied and involve:

Working within safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
Your Value
The ideal candidate will come from a heavy vehicle background, develop or continue your career in underground mining.
Heavy vehicle/diesel fitting trade qualification
Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence + able to obtain a National Police Check within 3 months
Able to contribute and work well within a supportive and dynamic crew culture
A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.
