This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Fixed Term appointments include the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 30/10/2026.

What is our Clinical Psychologist role?

WA Psycho-Oncology Service is a statewide service providing clinical psychology support to adults diagnosed with cancer across 3 hospital sites (SCGH, FSH and RPH).

The successful applicants will perform a clinical, consultant, education and research psychology service with patients, other professionals, and organisational systems within a multidisciplinary and professional team context. In addition:

  • Grade 1 Clinical Psychologist Registrars are required to work under the professional supervision of an approved Clinical Psychologist.

Progression: An appointee to a Grade 1 Clinical Psychologist Registrar position may progress to Clinical Psychologist Grade 2 upon successful completion of a Board approved supervised period of practice and gaining endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia.
