About the role

As a Field Geophysicist at Marine & Earth Sciences Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in the company's exploration and geoscience operations. Based in our Brisbane, Queensland office, this full-time position will see you conducting advanced geophysical surveys and analyses to support the company's engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

Plan, coordinate and execute complex geophysical field surveys for both onshore and offshore projects, including seismic, magnetic, electrical and airborne techniques.

Analyse and interpret geophysical data

Collaborate with the enginnering cleints to integrate geophysical data with other geological and geotechnical information

Prepare comprehensive reports documenting survey methods, data analysis and interpretations

Stay up-to-date with the latest geophysical technologies, methodologies and industry best practices

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geophysics, Geology or a related Earth Science discipline

Minimum 2 years' experience as a field geophysicist in the engineering sector

Proven expertise in the design, implementation and interpretation of a range of geophysical surveys

Strong technical skills in geophysical data acquisition, processing and modelling using industry-standard software

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities

Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

A commitment to safety, quality and environmental sustainability in field operations
