Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker/ 2nd Class welder for our Narangba production site. The successful candidate must be trade qualified and should have previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.

The Following Skills are required;

2nd Class Welder / Boilermaker

Ability to read and interoperate engineering drawings and manufacture to tolerance

Ability to follow Company Weld procedures

Problem Solving with a focus on Attention to detail.

Proven experience in MIG welding of Mild and High tensile steels of various thickness.

Basic mechanical skills (Basic fitting/ Manual machining experience would be desirable)

Ability to work in a team and autonomously

Safe work practices

Commitment to quality work

Remuneration will be based on experience.

The right applicants would ideally hold a current forklift license. Overtime opportunities exist.

The role requires a good understanding of fabricated and machined equipment.

The successful applicant must be able to work closely with both production coordinators and peers whilst being able to liaise with management & staff.
