Spray Seal Operator

Suncoast Asphalt is a progressive asphalt provider servicing commercial and residential customers across south-east Queensland. We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated professional to join the Suncoast Asphalt Contracting Team as a Seal Operator located in Narangba, QLD, with jobs in and around the greater Brisbane area.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Seal Operator to assist in various sealing projects throughout the Brisbane area. This role involves working outdoors and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Role Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation and sealing of asphalt surfaces.

Operate machinery and tools related to asphalt sealing.

Truck spotting.

Follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of a team.

Maintain a clean and organized worksite.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in asphalt work, construction or operating heavy machinery is an advantage.

Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.

Basic understanding of safety practices in construction.

Valid driver's license.

MR licence is advantageous.

Roller/paver/skid steer tickets are highly advantageous.

What we offer:

Base hourly rate from $28, pending experience/tickets held, plus penalty rates, plus super.

Working 8 - 12-hour shifts.
Day shift 6am - 6pm / Night shift 6pm - 6am.

Uniforms and PPE provided.
