We’re growing—and we’re looking for an experienced 5-Axis Machinist to join our highly skilled team.

About the Role

You’ll be operating advanced 5-axis CNC machining centres to produce precision components to exact specifications. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with a team that values skill, innovation, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

· Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machining centres

· Read and interpret complex technical drawings and CAD/CAM files

· Perform in-process inspections and ensure parts meet quality standards

· Troubleshoot and adjust offsets and tooling as needed

· Work collaboratively with programming and engineering teams

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What You’ll Need

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in 5-axis CNC machining (e.g., DMG, Makino, Mazak, or similar)

· Strong understanding of G-code and experience with CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360, HyperMill, or Mastercam preferred)

· Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings

· High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

· Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills

Desirable

· Experience machining stainless steel, hardened steel and aluminium alloys

· Familiarity with tight-tolerance aerospace or defence work

· Forklift license or previous overhead crane experience

Remuneration

$80,000-$110,000 based on experience and skills.
