We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Fitter to take responsibility for the Night Shift with a fast-paced food processing facility.

This is a full-time, autonomous role ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background and proven experience in high-speed food or beverage manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:
•Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on food processing equipment including ovens, mixers, and packing machines
•Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
•Work independently during night shifts with support from the wider maintenance team as required
•Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with food industry standards
•Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance tasks

About You:
•Trade-qualified Fitter with relevant certifications
•Proven experience in food or beverage manufacturing highly regarded
•Strong mechanical knowledge of high-speed processing equipment
•Ability to work autonomously on night shifts
•Familiar with HACCP, GMP, and food safety protocols
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
