About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Street Sweeper Operator to join our team at Browning Contractors' in Adelaide, SA 5000. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule.

What you'll be doing

Operate a street sweeper vehicle to clean and maintain roads, streets, and other paved areas

Ensure the effective and efficient operation of the sweeper equipment

Monitor and maintain the sweeper in good working condition

Identify and report any issues or concerns with the equipment or work areas

Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Provide excellent customer service to the local community

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Street Sweeper Operator or similar heavy equipment operator role

Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road rules and regulations

Ability to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on the sweeper

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Effective communication and customer service skills

Relevant licenses and certifications, such as a Heavy Vehicle Driver's License
