About the role

We are seeking a skilled Day Shift Technician - Electricians to join our Data Centre team in Ultimo, Sydney. This is a full-time role where you will play a vital part in keeping our state-of-the-art facility running smoothly and efficiently. As a Day Shift Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting critical electrical systems within the data centre.

What you'll be doing

Performing scheduled and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues in a timely manner

Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures

Documenting and reporting on maintenance activities and equipment performance

Collaborating with the wider team to support the overall operations of the data centre

What you'll need:

Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Experience in a data centre or critical infrastructure environment is highly desirable
