Are you an Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist with a passion for orthodontics/willing to learn about orthodontics and a commitment to patient care? We are a small, friendly team based in a newly fitted-out, state-of-the-art orthodontic practice in Bendigo—and we’re looking for a like-minded professional to grow with us.

This part-time opportunity (Mondays and Thursdays) comes with flexibility and the potential to increase days over time. While prior orthodontic experience is highly desirable, we are more than happy to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.

What We’re Looking For

You’re someone who is:

Qualified with a Bachelor of Oral Health / Oral Health Science / Dental Hygiene

Registered with AHPRA

Holds or is willing to obtain a CBCT licence

Holds a Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Current First Aid Certificate

A team player with a strong work ethic, excellent communication, and a warm, approachable personality

Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Passionate about orthodontics, patient care, and ongoing professional development

Demonstrates attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Maintains confidentiality and upholds high professional standards

Your Role Will Include

Assisting in orthodontic consultations

Capturing diagnostic records: X-rays, intraoral scans, photographs

Educating patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care

Issuing aligners and performing indirect bonding

Debanding and removing orthodontic appliances

Placing fixed lingual retainers and aligner attachments

Managing orthodontic emergencies with confidence

Ensuring all patient records are accurate and up to date

Strict adherence to infection control and sterilisation protocols

Attending CPD events and seminars as part of your career progression

Being adaptable and embracing practice-wide protocols and team culture
