Position available:

Casual positions - approximately 20-25 hours per week ongoing. Shifts may include evenings and weekends and the positions require a level of physical fitness.

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for sampling and assisting surveyors in performing quantity determination of petroleum, petrochemical and chemicals products.

Specific responsibilities:

Physically sample and assist surveyors in measuring products and tanks as required

Accurately complete all required reports and forms.

Provide written and verbal updates to customer representatives

Compile reports and documentation as directed for each job and communicate with customer representative

Work in cooperation with client’s representatives, Customs, vessel personnel, government agents and shore facility personnel to ensure accurate results are achieved.

Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

Some experience in Petroleum Inspection and/or the Oil, Gas and Chemical industry is an advantage.

Working knowledge of oil terminals and storage facilities.
Valid Australian Driver’s License

Australian citizen or demonstrate the right to live and work in Australia

Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or ability/willingness to obtain.

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment when necessary.
