About the Company & Role:

As a Finance Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of a leading player within the FMCG industry. Our client is a ASX Top 50 household-name FMCG leader where you will be embedded within the Commercial Finance team, partnering with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Strategy. Your role will blend deep analytical work with strategic influence to support data-driven decision-making across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business partnering with key commercial stakeholders to drive financial accountability within budgets and strategy
• Provide commercial insights and performance analysis to guide successful business decisions
• Reporting and analysis of CAPEX and OPEX, including risk identification and mitigation strategies
• Analyse large data sets across multiple projects to identify performance gaps, growth opportunities, and efficiency improvements
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement through benchmarking and performance analysis
• Contribute to the development of robust business cases for new product launches and capital investment

Skills and Experience:

• CA/CPA qualified
• Background in FMCG or retail is advantageous, though not essential
• You will have worked in a large, matrix-style organisation and be comfortable navigating complexity
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills - confident engaging senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
