About the Role
We are seeking applications for the casual role of Food & Beverage Attendant. This is an essential role providing superior Food and Beverage service to patrons. You will undertake general Food and Beverage service duties, including, but not limited to, mise en place, set-up of functions and riders, set-up of Food and Beverage equipment, basic food preparation (non-cooking duties) and preparation for service.
Successful candidates must be available for a minimum of three (3) shifts per week, with at least one (1) shift on a Saturday night and one (1) shift on a Wednesday.
A current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification, or the ability to obtain this within 30 days of commencement, is also essential to this role.
In this role you will:
Provide the highest level of customer service to all patrons including performers, staff, and venue hirers.
Ensure presentation of bar, dining, foyer, and lounge areas is of the highest standard and prepared to receive patrons, including following opening and closing procedures.
Set up and break-up of tables, service areas, service stations, service equipment, mise en place, etc.
Undertake general Food and Beverage waiting and barista duties.
Cashiering on computerised point of sales system.
Undertake general cleaning duties, including wiping down tables and chairs, cleaning glass and equipment, and polishing cutlery, china, and glassware.
Restock food displays and cabinets.
Requisition items from stores when requested.
Assisting with basic food preparation (non-cooking duties).
Reporting items out of order to the relevant manager/supervisor.
Observe workplace health and safety and safe food handling procedures.
Be certified in and uphold RSA principles and report any RSA incidents as per guidelines.

Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service, immaculate presentation, and strong attention to detail.
Experience in delivering Food and Beverage service to a high level of efficiency.
