The Position:

This role focuses on supporting children’s developmental needs and equipping parents with strategies to foster positive early childhood outcomes. You will be working within a hospital-based team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.

This position offers a three-month locum contract with the potential for extension, giving you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of children and families in these communities.

Benefits:

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia under AHPRA.

Location:

Charleville, Queensland, is a fantastic destination for a locum doctor looking to experience rural medicine in a unique outback setting. Known for its rich history, the town is home to the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Cosmos Centre, where you can gaze at some of the clearest night skies in Australia.

Getting to Charleville from Sydney or Melbourne requires a connecting flight through Brisbane. From Sydney, the journey starts with a flight to Brisbane, which takes around an hour and a half, followed by a two-hour flight to Charleville. The trip from Melbourne follows a similar path, with a slightly longer flight to Brisbane at just over two hours before the final leg to Charleville.
