Our client is a proudly Australian, family-owned company that specialises in premium vehicle builds, assemblies, and custom-fit solutions. Known for quality, integrity, and innovation, they are expanding—and looking for a hands-on leader to take their assembly team to the next level.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

This is not a desk job. You’ll be on the floor, sleeves rolled up, assembling, fitting, and fine-tuning vehicle accessories, trays, and storage systems. At the same time, you’ll be leading by example—helping train, support, and guide team members as the business scales.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you’ll:

Oversee day-to-day assembly operations

Fit and assemble a variety of mechanical accessories to vehicles

Mentor new team members and uphold high-quality standards

Ensure workshop output is on track and efficient

Play a key role in growing the capability and strength of the team

ABOUT YOU

You’re a practical leader who still loves being on the tools. You’ve got strong assembly or mechanical fitting skills, great attention to detail, and a steady hand when leading a team.

You’ll ideally bring:

Experience in automotive assembly or mechanical fitting

Confidence in leading or mentoring others (formal or informal)

A “lead by doing” mindset—respect is earned on the floor

Solid knowledge of tools, fitting techniques, and safe work practices

Reliability, communication skills, and pride in doing the job right

Forklift license or willingness to obtain one (a bonus!)
