What you’ll be doing:

• Taking full ownership of the technology strategy, roadmap, and architecture.
• Designing and implementing the scalable systems and processes required to grow from 30 to 100+ employees.
• Starting hands-on to master our current environment, then transitioning to lead high-level technical direction and, eventually, an on-shore team.
• Acting as the key technical advisor to the executive team, making critical decisions that will shape the future of the company.
• Planning and executing the transition from fully offshore development to a hybrid model, with a goal of building a 50% in-house team by 2027
• Hiring, onboarding, and mentoring 4-5 engineers over the next 12 months

What you'll bring to the team:

• Demonstrable experience as the key technical leader who has scaled a company through a significant growth phase.
• A deep and pragmatic understanding of systems architecture, scalability, and modern engineering best practices.
• Hiring, coaching, and growing engineering talent
• Experience building APIs, scalable backend systems
• DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability skills
• Strong AWS systems design skills.
• An inherent passion for building, problem-solving, and creating order from complexity.
