About the role

Prothom is seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Moonee Ponds, Victoria, this role will involve performing high-quality painting work in both residential and commercial settings. As a Painter, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our clients' properties.

What you'll be doing

Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and applying filler as required

Selecting and applying appropriate paints, stains, or varnishes to interior and exterior surfaces

Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment throughout the project

Collaborating with clients to understand their preferences and deliver outstanding results

Adhering to relevant health and safety regulations at all times

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Painter, preferably in the trades and services industry

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Strong time management and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues

Relevant qualifications or certifications in painting or related trades
