Prostrip Sandblasting and Australian Steel Coating (ASC) are growing businesses delivering high-quality surface preparation and industrial coatings across Victoria. We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Spray Painter to join our hardworking and dynamic team.

About the Role

We're looking for someone confident and competent in all aspects of industrial spray painting, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. You'll be working on a variety of steel structures, components, and equipment in both our in-house workshop and on-site as required.

Key Responsibilities

Perform industrial spray painting using airless, conventional, and HVLP spray systems

Prepare surfaces for painting including masking, priming, and cleaning

Mix and apply different coating systems as per specifications (including epoxy, polyurethane, zinc-rich primers, Intumescent etc.)

Conduct basic quality control and touch-ups

Maintain equipment and follow strict safety procedures

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as an industrial painter (min. 2 years preferred)

Ability to read and follow paint specifications and job instructions

Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE use (especially around hazardous coatings)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality finishes

Forklift or EWP licence (advantageous)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
