About the Role
This newly created role is a key part of our Psychosocial Risk Management Strategy. Reporting to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you'll provide expert advice, deliver high-impact training, and lead programs that support a safe, engaged, and mentally healthy workplace. You'll work across our campuses, guiding leaders and supporting staff through change, challenge, and opportunity.
Key Focus Areas
- Deliver targeted wellbeing initiatives and psychosocial risk mitigation strategies aligned with ISO 45003
- Build mental health literacy and deliver engaging training programs for staff and leaders
- Provide expert advice on psychosocial hazards, incident response, and psychological injury prevention
- Support and coach People Leaders in creating safe, supportive team environments
- Conduct risk assessments and refer staff to internal or external wellbeing supports
- Prepare data-driven reports, insights, and compliance documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Champion a culture of mental, emotional, social, and physical wellbeing across campuses
- Contribute to innovative ways of promoting wellbeing and psychosocial safety across the organisation
About You
You'll bring substantial experience in psychosocial risk, wellbeing, or mental health strategy-ideally gained across complex or multi-stakeholder environments such as education, government, or health. You're passionate about mental health and organisational wellbeing, with the confidence to influence at all levels. You thrive in dynamic environments and bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, allied health, or a relevant field are desirable
- Experience leading wellbeing programs with the understanding of psychosocial hazards
- Mental Health First Aid certification
- Knowledge of psychosocial risk frameworks (e.g. ISO 45003)
- Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
