Our client, a Government entity focused is seeking a Storage / Data Backup Engineer.

About the role - Storage / Data Backup Engineer

Storage/Data Backup Engineer role is a specialist technical role responsible for undertaking the deployment, management and maintenance of a range of storage and data backup technologies such as NetApp storage systems, Dell EMS Data Domain appliances and Veritas NetBackup technologies.

Duties - Storage / Data Backup Engineer

  • Plan, deploy and configure storage and data backup systems
  • Provide expert advice and undertake configuration of storage and data backup systems
  • Work as part of the storage refresh project team to configure and install storage systems

Skills / Experience

  • Configuring and supporting NetApp storage infrastructure such as NetApp StorageGRID and NetApp AFF C-Series systems
  • Configuring and supporting Dell EMC data domain appliances
  • Configuring and supporting Veritas NetBackup data backup technologies
