About the role

As an Electrician Tradesman and Site Supervisor at Huff Group, you will play a vital role in overseeing electrical work at our construction sites in Maryborough, QLD. This full-time position is responsible for leading and guiding a team of qualified electricians to ensure efficient, safe and compliant delivery of electrical services on site.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise, coordinate and monitor the work of electrical teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects
• Liaise with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve any issues
• Perform complex electrical installations, repairs and maintenance work to industry standards
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant safety regulations and company policies
• Mentor and train junior electricians to develop their skills and capabilities
• Maintain detailed records and provide progress reports as required

What we're looking for

• Fully qualified Electrician with a current Australian Electrician's Licence
• Substantial experience (8+ years) working as an Electrician, including in a supervisory role
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes and regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
