About the role

R CON CIVIL' is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver to join our team in Canberra, ACT. This is a full-time role, with opportunities for overtime and weekend work.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating HC trucks for the delivery and transportation of materials, equipment and other goods

Performing pre-start checks and routine maintenance on vehicles

Ensure safe loading, transportation and unloading of materials

Liaising with clients and other team members to ensure efficient and timely deliveries

Adhering to all relevant transport regulations and company safety policies

A strong understanding of WHS legislation and commitment to safety

Maintaining accurate records of activities, including logbooks and delivery paperwork

What we're looking for

A current HC truck licence & recent demonstrated truck driving experience with a proven safe driving record

Extensive experience operating heavy combination vehicles

Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safety best practices

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
